Hi-Drive Showcased at Bavaria’s Traffic Safety Day | Würzburg

On April 20, 2024, the Hi-Drive project, in collaboration with its partner Würzburger Institut für Verkehrssicherheit (WIVW), presented the European flagship research project on automated driving to the public at the “Landesverkehrssicherheitstag” (Traffic Safety Day of Bavaria). This event took place in the city center of Würzburg.

The WIVW institute and Hi-Drive were prominently featured with an exhibition stand and also participated in the stage program. During an engaging interview, they highlighted the Hi-Drive project’s efforts in paving the way for an automated driving future.

The “Landesverkehrssicherheitstag” event saw a total of 61 exhibitors, including the police, fire brigade, and ambulance service. These organizations contributed to road safety awareness through information stands, attractions, and performances. Under the motto “Traffic moves – Together.Mobile.Safe,” the popular event catered to all citizens and road users, from the youngest to the oldest, and from pedestrians to cyclists and motorized road users.
