ITS World Congress 2022, taking place in September 18-22 in Los Angeles, CA, exploring “Transformation by Transportation”, is the global event that brings together world leaders, practitioners, policy makers, researchers, and private industry to advance and unite the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) industry.

The Hi-Drive project hosted a Special Interest Session on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM:
SIS31: Extended and Defragmented Operational Design Domains for Higher Automation

The session moderator was Angelos Amditis, ICCS, ERTICO ITS Europe
The contributing speakers were:

In addition to the above mentioned SIS, Hi-Drive had the privilege to present the project and its work in progress to a special panel within the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP). Interesting points of view on perspective and approaches were exchanged, and some opportunities for future project twinnings and transatlantic synergies were also discussed.
