On 8 February 2024, Hi-Drive participated in the CCAM States Representatives Group (SRG) meeting in Brussels, organized by the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Representatives from 19 countries, including EU Member States and Horizon Europe associated countries, attended the meeting.
The CCAM SRG continued discussions from the previous meeting on harmonizing CCAM pre-deployment and real-life demonstration testing regulations across Europe. Representatives from the FAME project provided an overview of existing national regulations. Additionally, a representative from the European Commission’s DG MOVE briefed participants on new data-sharing requirements related to CCAM, stemming from the updated ITS Directive.
The meeting also focused on further cooperation on legal aspects and preparations for the upcoming High-Level Dialogue on Connected and Automated Driving, scheduled for 18-19 June in Ghent.
Hi-Drive remains committed to contributing to these crucial discussions and supporting the advancement of CCAM technologies and regulations in Europe!
